Strawberry Tiramisu with Pastry Cream

INGREDIENTS
  

  • 500 g le Naturelle Gourmet Ready-to-use Pastry Cream
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 100 g Sponge fingers
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • Fresh mint

METHOD
 

  • Wash the strawberries, remove the stem and cut them into cubes, keeping aside about 50 g that will be used for decoration. Place the chopped ones in a bowl with the sugar and the juice of 1 lemon. Stir and let them steep for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator so that they release some of their liquid (if you are in a hurry, you can reduce the resting time). Drain the strawberries and also keep their syrup.
  • Cut the Sponge fingers, dip them quickly in the strawberry syrup and place them on the bottom of the glasses. Then make a layer of diced strawberries and a layer of pastry cream. Keep repeating the layers and complete with the cream. Garnish with the remaining strawberries and a sprig of mint.
